Educational practices have to be up-to the ever-changing needs of education, economy, and the whole society. Among the most critical and debatable issues in education nowadays are the educational strategies followed and the use of technology in education.
These issues have been the subject of our series of training sessions at Al Huda International School.
In these sessions, discussion and training covered:
- – What is Active Learning?
- – Theoretical Basis of Active Learning
- – Benefits and Uses of Active Learning
- – Different Active Learning Techniques- how they are used and applications of each in different subject areas and grade levels
- – The Use of Technology in Classroom: what are teachers’ opinions and fears about it, how to overcome them
- – Bringing Classes to Life through Simulations
These ideas were tackled through different kinds of activities in which educators were actively involved and interacted sharing their experiences.
